Not sure how many here watch The Voice, but an OKC resident and longtime fixture of the local music scene has made it through the blind auditions and landed on Team Gwen. For those who don't know Chase, he has been in promising bands, including The City Lives (toured with All American Rejects) and Defining Times, but has never gotten "the big break". Hopefully this is it.

By day he and his mom own and operate 42nd Street Candy, next door to VZDs on North Western.

He's just a super nice guy, genuine, talented, and has paid his dues as much as about any local musician I know, including the lonely steakhouse gigs. More than a few times he played on the patio in front of my store for a couple of bucks, years ago. Who knows his far he'll go, but he's incredibly deserving of any opportunity that comes his way.

Here is his audition (Coldplay cover):

Glad he made it. He's got some work cut out for him, there's some big competition on the teams. It's a win to get the exposure however it goes for him.
