This is quite impressive. One of them has expressed an interest in Special Forces.

That is indeed pretty impressive....
Im not up on my Army knowledge but I believe the rangers are above the regular army and below the Green Berets{not sure of the exact term?}? Looks like they had the same BFA,s we had years before thought lol.

There is Ranger School, which is a 61 or 62 leadership and combat training school. That's what these women did. Ranger Regiment/the Ranger Battalions are army units that fall under SOCOM and are in the tier below the Green Berets. You are correct, sir.

Call me old-fashioned but I'm still a little ambivalent about women in combat roles. However I am not a bit ambivalent about my respect for these women who completed the school. Hats off to them on their accomplishment. I'm confident they will wear their RANGER tabs with pride and rightfully so.
