The wife and I dove out to the ghost town of Bridgeport Ok, and figured we might as well drive a little further on Rt 66 to see Lucille's.The Provine Service Station (later the Hamons Court, Hamons' Service Station or simply Lucille's Place) is a historic filling station on U.S. Route 66 in Oklahoma. Located a half-mile south of Hydro, Oklahoma and operated by Lucille Hamons from 1941 until her death on August 18, 2000, the site was added to the US National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Yes, and it's a replica-ish building also:

Lucille's is a meeting place for me and a hunting friend on some weekends. At times he's late so I sit and wait. It's amazing how many Europeans stop by that place for a photo shoot. He was an hour late one time and I met folks from Paris, Italy and Madrid. Obvious a popular Route 66 stop.

Back in the day I made many purchases of many items at the real Lucille's. At site of the "new" Lucille's was one of two A&W's in Weatherford. Go Dogs!
