I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on with the old shopping ctr that is at I-240 and Shields where Burlington is and Langstons. The last couple of time I have driven by there they have been demolishing the corner section where the old movie theatre and Furr's cafeteria were. Does anyone know what they are planning for this shopping center or were they just getting rid of that section to just leave the remainder as is?

The old movie theatre was demolished years ago.

As to your question I doubt they have anything planned there and are just bulldozed what was probably severely run down buildings instead of having to maintain them.
