After 25 years at 55 N Robinson, the Internal Revenue Service will be moving to an area near the Social Security Office at 715 NE 122nd, according to an email sent to IRS employees. Employees were told in early March that although no dirt has been turned, they hope to complete the move by spring, 2016 at the latest.
I am posting this information as an employee and not a spokesperson for the IRS.
We have also heard that all other federal agencies in the building will be relocated elsewhere. Rumor has been that Devon will take it, but that is just grapevine information. Devon has taken over half of one floor in the building now.
