The State’s Water Master Plan
Current concerns regarding State/City Water Supply
Peer-reviewed evidence regarding oil drilling near water supplies
Potential threats to OKC’s water supply, and water conservation techniques.


An emphasis will be placed on discussing oil/gas drilling, mineral exploration and other industrial activity in the immediate vicinity of the cities’ lakes, including, but not limited to Lake Hefner. In addition, the potential of a moratorium on such activity will be discussed.

This event will be held Thursday, January 22 6:30-8:00pm @ The Tower Hotel (Formerly Marriott) 3233 NW Expressway Doors open at 5:30 for Information Browsing Session.

They have a nice panel of speakers. Looks pretty interesting.
