It seems like lately I will swear I've felt and heard a fairly significant earthquake, maybe lasting as much as ten seconds, but I'll check OGS and other websites and never see anything recorded. Interestingly enough, I'm batting about 1000 for doing this on days where there's been a quake somewhere near the metro... But the times are all wrong... Off by hours.

If we have any geologists lurking about, I'm just curious if aftershocks or shifting of some sort in the ground might be possible following some of these large earthquakes that for whatever reason aren't showing up in the earthquake logs? Do the logs maybe not report small quakes?

Just trying to figure out whether or not I'm crazy I guess.

Questor, I do the same thing, especially when I'm sitting in my office at my desk. I don't know if it's just my imagination, or if it's real.
