I'm curious why Riverside. I wasn't familiar with where it was, so I googled it and it looks like it's south of 23rd, just west of Air Depot....basically in that train yard north of 10th. It's quite a distance from any road (basically in the middle of that square mile). Does anyone know if there is someone that has a development plan there? The neighborhood just north of it looks like someone's been buying up lots there too because you can see lots of driveway curb cuts with no home to go with it. Kinda weird.

I would like to think that the city is transforming this area into an industrial zone. Soldier Creek Industrial Park isn't too far away, and the Car Transport Rail Yard is there too, along with a couple of other industrial type businesses in the surrounding municipalities. What I also found interesting, is that the neighborhood just north of Riverside MHP is not within MWC boundaries, but is completely surrounded by MWC.

That would be a flood project. The mobile hone park floods badly and was badly damaged a few years back. The neighborhood to the north was part of a FEMA buyout run by the County because it's outside the city limits.

So if its not in MWC limits, why is MWC involved? That seems like it should be a county issue then....

The mobile home park is in Midwest City, the neighborhood north of it, is not.
