Oklahoma City Councilwoman Meg Salyer said Tuesday that ensuring neighborhood needs are met was a central concern in her decision to seek a third term.
She noted Oklahoma City likely will ask voters that year to authorize borrowing for major street projects, sidewalks and other work important to keeping neighborhoods growing and vital.
Also factoring into her decision to run, she said, is the need to be sure MAPS 3 public investments remain on track and “exceed the expectations of voters.”
