One of my friends is coming in from out of town and looking for a club with a live DJ that plays Electronic music. She also prefers that there is no cover. She would prefer the location to be OKC or Norman. Any ideas?

Robotic Wednesdays is currently the only thing I know of for electronic music so if your friend will be here on a Wednesday I would check it out. I'd been meaning to try it for months, and by the time I finally went out to do so, it was gone. :( bchris02 09-19-2014, 08:26 AM I was really sad when Frequency closed. Hopefully its only temporary. Urbanized 09-19-2014, 08:35 AM I think huge is an overstatement. Citywalk closed and a crime-plagued ****hole re-concepted (and still plays DJ-spun dance/hip-hop when their live music isn't performing). Frequency didn't last because it didn't have the business, among other reasons, and has been gone for quite some time now (replaced by a bar that also has a dance floor and DJ). It's hardly the end of the world. shawnw 09-19-2014, 11:17 AM I was under the impression that frequency just moved and didn't close... Pete 09-19-2014, 12:58 PM Is Club One15 still open? Yes. And their building has not been sold. Bullbear 09-19-2014, 01:06 PM There is also FLUX that hosts lots of EDM live DJ stuff but they have been having problems with occupancy ratings so not sure when they will be back up and running. they use to host BOOMBOX on saturday nights but last update on facebook was Aug 8th of them still trying to fix the occupancy problem. |
