I've been playing softball/kickball at this facility for around 8 years and through a handful of ownership/management groups.

This new group definitely is head and shoulders above the others. Already been seeing a lot of changes.

I spoke to one of the partners and they would like to go to Moore but don't have a specific location at this time.

It would be in the 2015/16 timeframe.

New training facility is on deck

D-BAT OKC Academy, a new 50,000-square-foot baseball and softball training facility has opened its doors next to the D-BAT SportsPlex on NW 122 between Western Avenue and Santa Fe. The academy offers 14 indoor hitting and pitching tunnels, a full-size indoor major league infield and a pro shop. The year-round facility offers private lessons, clinics for teams and various camps. Ongoing renovations to the D-BAT SportsPlex will continue throughout the 2015 season. This includes new lighting, dugouts, concessions and additional shade. D-BAT stands for Developing Beliefs Attitudes & Traditions. Brothers Cade and Kyle Griffis founded the original D-BAT in north Dallas in 1998 and the brand now has 23 franchises. Oklahoma City business owners Todd Currie and Eric Dahlgren purchased the rights to the Oklahoma City market in 2014.
