Opening up a new store in The Hills
Gander Mountain announced its new store at The Walk at Tulsa Hills will employ 70 when it opens in spring of next year.
David Pratt, Gander Mountain chairman and CEO, said in a press release the company was thrilled to continue their national expansion into Tulsa.
“Gander Mountain has long been a well-known and trusted name among those who love the outdoors, and who enjoy great traditions like hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and camping.”
The store will also offer new and used firearms, activewear and footwear, the company said in a release.
Gander Mountain will be the first store to be constructed at The Walk at Tulsa Hills, a $32.5 million, 155,000-square-foot retail center under construction south of Tulsa Hills at 81st Street and U.S. 75. Other facilities will include a 12-screen Carmike Cinema, Chuy’s Mexican restaurant, a Mathis Brothers Sleep Center, an Aldi grocery and a Freddie’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers.
