I was doing some research in the Oklahoman archives and came across a couple of images of the original model for the Galleria site.

This was back in the early 80's and I remember going into the Corrozza leasing offices and seeing it.

The original plan was for a 50-story office building on the site now occupying by the new library, a 750,000 square foot mall and a 400-room hotel immediately south of the first Galleria office building:

wow, all of that would have been so awesome! 50 stories... stupid oil bust.

Yeah, but it's probably best the mall was never built.

Not sure it would have been viable at that time... Maybe not even now.
