Watch a 72-year-old Buzz Aldrin punch a jerk in the face for calling him a 'liar' - The Week (http://theweek.com/article/index/265042/speedreads-watch-a-72-year-old-buzz-aldrin-punch-a-jerk-in-the-face-for-calling-him-a-liar)

Buzz Aldrin: Famed astronaut, second man on the moon, and puncher of smug faces.

Sunday marks the 45th anniversary of the lunar landing — unless, of course, it never happened and the government faked the whole danged thing to make America look super powerful at the height of the Cold War. Is that conspiracy theory likely? Probably not, though there are some who ardently believe in it.

Bart Sibrel is one of those lunar truthers. And back in 2002, he ambushed Aldrin outside a Los Angeles hotel and berated him about his supposed role in the hoax, asking him to swear on a Bible he landed on the moon and calling him a "liar" and a "coward." Offended that someone would question his integrity, and fed up with being pestered for so long, Aldrin finally snapped and socked Sibrel in the face.

Good for Buzz. Unfortunately, the guy that baited him will probably get his day in civil court for the punch.

Considering the technology our astronauts used to go to the moon and back it took some big brass ones to even step into that oversized closet. Calling him a coward triggered his alpha side and gave that puke what he deserved. He probably will take this to court to continue to try and bully this MAN. crybaby boys do stuff like that.

This happen over 12 years ago. The judge dismissed the charges because it was clear the "reporter" was stalking him and was trying to provoke him for his own financial gain.

From Wiki:

Most astronauts have refused to grant him interviews. The most infamous incident involved Apollo 11 crew member Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon. According to Aldrin, he was lured to a Beverly Hills, California, hotel on September 9, 2002, under the pretext of an interview on space for a Japanese children's television show. When he arrived, Sibrel was there demanding that he swear an oath on a Bible that he had walked on the Moon.

When Aldrin refused, Sibrel called him "a coward, and a liar, and a thief." Aldrin punched Sibrel in the jaw, which was recorded. Sibrel later attempted to use the tape to convince police and prosecutors that he was the victim of an assault. However, it was decided that Aldrin had been provoked, and, based on Sibrel's unfazed, nearly instant reaction to his cameraman, did not actually injure Sibrel, so no charges were filed. Many talk shows aired the clip, often siding with Aldrin's response. Sibrel said later that he wrote a letter of apology to Aldrin.

gjl already brought up what the guy tryied to do, but nothing was brought up in civil court, I only did a basic check but it looks like the statue of limitations has already passed.
