View Full Version : Why is the downtown bus station on the Endangered Buildings List?

Last I heard, the building was going to be converted to restaurant space and now it's on the Endangered List for 2014. Surely, we're not losing this great piece of mid-century architecture, too?

Where did you see this list?

The bus station is now empty and owned by Nick Preftakes, who owns almost that whole block now.

His plans are fuzzy but he has stated publicly they plan to renovate the bus station, not demolish it.

That list is by Preservation Oklahoma which also lists the state capitol:
