Blair Humphreys has resigned as executive director of the University of Oklahoma's Institute for Quality Communities.

This is a great loss for OU, but the article states he will be transitioning into the Humphreys Company. Hopefully this Humphreys stays in OKC to hone his craft.

Blair did a great job and I am sure they will have a high standard of candidates to replace him. He set the bar pretty high. I am looking forward to his projects in the private sector. Hopefully this means the Humphreys Company will be doing more in OKC.

Indeed, I imagine this will be a net win for OKC, OU will get someone just as good or even better perhaps, and Blair will help the family biz embark on their next project, perhaps the Airpark, or don't forget about the Flatiron project they tabled a few years ago in Flatiron/Deep Deuce area. With all the synergy and infill Deep Deuce has, honestly I am shocked that they haven't pushed this project forward, and hopefully are soon.
