A new vodka distillery has opened in Guthrie, but apparently hit a snag with a coffee-flavored liqueur. The Journal Record teaser wasn't clear whether the company, or just the liqueur, has been shut down, and I don't subscribe so I can't read the other side of the paywall. Prairie Wolf Spirits has seen great success with its vodka, which has gained popularity around the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas. The family-owned company has already started working on its next product, a locally made coffee liqueur that would be a rarity in the state alcohol market.
