Do people actually go to high school football games anymore? Other than having a kid on the team.....why? Granted, I haven't been to a game in twenty years...but having looked at the scores this year, they don't sound even remotely interesting.

From tonight...

Putnam North - 50, US Grant - 0
Tulsa Union - 63, Sand Springs - 6
Altus - 77, Southeast - 7
Deer Creek - 51, Western Heights - 7
Del City - 68, Capital Hill - 0
Tulsa Memorial - 57, Tulsa Hale - 0
Harrah - 50, Tecumseh - 0
Eufaula - 54, Valliant - 7
Plainview - 69, Atoka - 7
Adair - 68, Chelsea - 6
Hobart - 69, Mangum - 6
Nowata - 68, Caney Valley - 0
Wyandotte - 76, Quapaw - 0

I'd say 20/25% of the games tonight looked competitive. The rest you can leave after the 1st quarter.

By the way, where the heck is Caney Valley?

Well that's probably because you think the score of the game is what makes it fun in high school. It's more about the experience.
