Google Earth has updated it's imagery of OKC Metro to May 21,2013. Shows the Moore tornado path. Also shows a very green Metro.

The update has been that way since early June as I noted in another Google Earth thread ;-)

Just the facts

Looking at the path and then going into streetview is freaking eerie. You almost want to tell the young girl mowing the lawn at the corner of SW 10th St and Ridgeway Dr. to go ahead and stop mowing - in a few months it isn't going to matter.

OKCisOK4me: I believe you're referring to "Google Maps", I'm referring to "Google Earth" .According to Google Earth the update just went in recently. Google Maps went in a while back. Cheers!

Nope...Im referring to Google Earth. Maybe they updated their opening layer to just be that June imagery but starting in June you could use the history option (clock icon with a counter clockwise green arrow on it in the Google Earth header) to change the satellite layer to the most current imagery. Trust me, I know what Im talking about.

Search 'Google Earth Update' in the search bar up top...go to page 3 of those yielded searches and you'll see my post #18 on June 12th...which my phone will not let me copy and paste the link to.
