Since there has been an onslaught of new restaurants with a bunch more to come, how about if we come up with some lists for quick reference?

I know this is a bit of a tempest in a teapot but we could start with places that are generally well-regarded without picking nits over value, décor, service, etc.

So, this article will serve as a master list that we can add to over time. Think of it as a quick reference list when you want to try something new or provide recommendations to friends/visitors.

Cloud Hooka Lounge & Bar

article about it here: http://www.naisullivangroup.com/OKNews/NewchapterforLibraryfounder-Bettsopensrestauranthookahbar.pdf

under 'Brand New', or better yet, 'Ethnic/Adventurous' because of the Iranian dishes and hookah lounge.

Just throwing something up as a starting point for discussion. And no way was it meant to be complete, exhaustive or even correct. ;)

All input is welcome.

Coffee
Cafe Bella

x2, not very well known, but really good fresh roasted free trade coffee and some of the best boba tea in the metro. Been hoping they would relocate closer to downtown, but then again rent on sw 89th is a lot cheaper than midtown/downtown etc.

What is Ice House going to be....like the actual ice houses I used to frequent in Houston?

But joking aside that's a good list, I haven't heard of alot of those places. Will try and go soon.

What would be interesting was if we could devise a way to note the "remarkable according to OKC Talk restaurants" by coming up with a some sort of induction system.

No, it's going to be a seasonal burger/fries/shake place being opened by Justin Nicholas of Nic's Grill..... Not sure why they aren't calling it Nic's Ice House.

For Sushi, I prefer Tokyo. The Sushi Bar in Edmond is nice too, but if you go there I would stick to rolls. If you want nigri or sashimi, Tokyo is the best in town. Tastes very similar to east coast sushi.

I think All About Cha in Edmond is a good coffee house. I would like to see them open a location somewhere like Midtown.

A lot of the restaurants on this list are featured on our food and drink discovery app, Fubelly (http://www.fubelly.com).

We launched the original website a year ago, but the new web app was released last month. Hope it is a good resource for anyone that wants to discover food and drink in OKC. We will be adding more restaurants over the next month.

BTW, should the Haunted House belong on here? Seems like a pretty interesting restaurant.
