Hi everyone, as some of you already know I lived in plaza towers neighborhood in Moore. My realtor put my property up for sale today, she went by comparing all the other lots that are for sale in plaza towers. She told me the lots that are for sale in plaza towers are listed from $20,000 to $28,000 http://www.trulia.com/for_sale/73160_zip/LOT%7CLAND_type/0-29500_price/ so she said its best to list in the middle. Are lots that expensive? I was kind of like "WOW" with that price, I was thinking half that at least. I don't know much about real estate, so I am taking the realtors word for it, does this sound right on the prices?

It sounds right after allowing for inflation. I bought a lot outside the metro area in 2003 for $18,000. Maybe lots in Oklahoma in general are expensive, unless they're in towns on the decline.

Pretty normal prices for suburban lots in lower crime neighborhoods.

Im glad I decided to wait until the city removed my slab to list the lot. The week after the tornado when I was clearing out debris a man saying he was a builder was wanting to buy my lot for $9,000.00 he told me the lots are selling from $7,000 to $10,000. Im glad I held off, that's why im pretty shocked that the realtor told me $20,000 to $28,000 in my area, and I looked at trulia and I was like "Wow".. Cant believe I was almost scammed, I wonder if anyone in my neighborhood fell for that guy and sold to him that cheap

That dollar range does not unsettle me.
