I'm a fan of Honky Tonk Country.

From USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2013/07/08/randy-travis-in-critical-condition/2500069/)
Country singer Randy Travis is in critical condition at a Texas hospital
after being admitted Sunday. According to a press release from his
publicist, the singer of such hits as Forever and Ever, Amen, On the
Other Hand and Three Wooden Crosses is suffering complications of
recently acquired viral cardiomyopathy.

Viral cardiomyopathy is a weakening of the heart muscles caused by a
viral infection.

Travis, who pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated in
Texas earlier this year, was hospitalized in 2012 after a fight near a
church in Plano, Texas.

A friend of mine that I worked with at Benham had that. He had moved up here to Denver in 1992 and was working at DIA during construction and came down with the flu and eventually had viral cardiomyopathy in 1996. He moved back to Cleveland (west of Tulsa) and was on a heart transplant waiting list for while. He moved back up here and back to Cleveland ultimately passing away right before his 43rd birthday in 2006. It is something hard to live with and come back from.
