They've cleared out a massive area just north of I-40, any idea whats going in.

Side note - i think that construction sites should have something that says whats its going to be.

Love's at one point was planning to add a new style larger store near, but not on, the site they used to have on NE side of Choctaw and I-40. If the clearing is on the north side of I-40, perhaps they are now underway?

Yeah if I recall I think they waiting to see the final proposals on the I-40 rebuild before they decided to replace the Loves.

They pretty much have known what the proposals are for awhile now. Its just that they didn't really want to be around when construction was going on, but since ODOT has constantly delayed the project and a competitor travel opening on the other side of the interstate, they went ahead and decided to start construction. Might as well since their is so much development in the area.

If the tornado had never happen they would still have kept the old store until ODOT came around and bought the right of way of course.

Yes, it will eventually be a traditional diamond interchange. It will start around 2016 or 2017.

I drove by today coming back from Sallisaw. The clearing is north of I-40 but west of Choctaw Rd. and is a rather hilly clearing.

Yes, just in case one couldn't decipher through the above posts that it's probably a Love's, yes it is a Love's. If you drive to the site it's clearly looks like a truck stop and there is a Love's sign.
