The dog pile was the best OU baseball moment in many years.
The recent lineup changes have made this a better team. OU is very young team, more of the freshman
are starting to play better. It will be interesting to see where they are sent later today for regional play

Grinding through a rough patch with their chances of playing in the postseason slipping away,
Sunny Golloway and the Oklahoma Sooners quickly realized their hardships weren't so bad when
a deadly tornado struck a neighboring community.

Suddenly, helping out people who had lost their homes became more important than batting practice.
When their team bus broke down on the way to the Big 12 tournament, there weren't any complaints.

With their priorities in order, the Sooners put together four straight wins and claimed their first Big 12
tournament crown in 16 years by beating Kansas 7-2 on Sunday in the championship game.

Also an interesting foot note to the Moore tornado and this year’s OU baseball team is that OU baseball player Kolbey Carpenter is from the town of West in Texas where they had the big fertilizer explosion. He left the team for a few days to help family and friends.
The OU baseball team won its OU’s 7th Big 12 sports championship for this school year.

Sooners just beat Virginia Tech on their home field to win that regional undefeated. Quite a post-season winning streak they have going.

Will play the winner of the LSU regional (most likely LSU) in the super regional for the right to go to the College World Series.
