Our kids came home today saying the schools told them jr high would start ealier next school year and high school would start 30 min later. Does anyone know if this is true and what the exact times will be?

I graduated from Westmoore in 1995. They are likely having issues with tardiness and traffic patterns around the schools. Not mention 6 min passing periods have been built in at both the jr. high and high school levels. This will likely clean up some of the tardiness and smooth out the traffic issues. Traffic issues can be a headache because most schools become gridlocked before and after school. The times make sense because OKC metro streets are pretty crowded between 7:45 and 8:15. I am surprised OKC has not looked at talking to employers about staggered arrival times for employees at the various employment hubs in the city. I would think it would be good for traffic flow and it cut down on tardiness and traffic accidents.

Dan Krutka, you never taught at Westmoore, you just conducted classes next to Jimi.

Lol. My first year there I conducted two of my classes in his room.
