This has to be one of the worse showings by the conference in a given year, at least through the first weekend. OU losing was understandable, at least they were the underdog and were never really embarrassed. K-State and Ok. State were atrocious. Kansas struggled against a 16 seed, and better hope they play better or they may not make it very far. Iowa State was really the only impressive showing thus far.

It was known from midseason that this year is wide open. This is that year that the strength of your conference vs. another doesn't bode well and there's not too much difference between a mid major and a BCS school. Too much parity.
