All five current members of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board were accused Wednesday in misdemeanor charges of illegally voting on early release requests without proper public notice. All five are charged with misdemeanor violations of the Open Meeting Act. Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater alleges the board's violations were designed to hide potentially unpopular board actions from the citizens it serves.
