Does anyone know where I could take some old TVs and other electronics and get them recycled? I hate to just throw them into the dump as they no longer work. I live in Midwest City and don't mind driving as far as Yukon etc...

Check with Best Buy. I know they will recycle old CRT monitors.

OK BBQ Eater Anonymous is correct.

I have taken all types of electronics to Best Buy for recycling. If you take a computer, remove the hard drive first. The last time I took a computer they would not accept hard drives

craigslist free stuff section..

We have gotten rid of a lot of stuff on the free stuff section. Just put an ad with your address and put the item by the curb, and before you know it day or night it will be gone.

Thanks for the info, but I am looking at recycling an old 32" TV and a 26" TV as well as a couple of old VCRs. I will check into craigslist this weekend.

Will Best Buy take a projection TV?

Best Buy only takes computer monitors not TVs.

They must have recently stopped taking tv's. I took an old console tv to the mwc best buy a couple of months ago and they took it.

Nice to know, I was told differently by a friend of mine around Christmas time.

I was told Best But will take anything they sell. That tells me they will take TV's, just call them and ask.

Just remember that after the item is gone, remove the ad from Craigslist.
