There was an amazing photo mural on the southeast wall when the space was Sage, sadly removed by the people who were going to put Le Cep there.

I've long thought Deep Deuce would be an interesting subject for a period movie. Revolving around a young Ralph Ellison, Charlie Christian and others in the 1920s. It would be more of a character driven film rather than plot driven so much. And of course Deep Deuce itself would be the biggest character in the film. It wouldn't need to be a "cause movie" about race but more of a film about the society of Deep Deuce. I think it could be very cool film if done properly. The big quesiton would be, where would one shoot such a film? Present day Deep Deuce looks little to nothing like it did back then. I would think a Hollywood back lot set would be strictly out of the question.
