Looks like the progressives are getting smart and trying to push the liberal agenda through conservative media.

The World was never all that conservative. (Next to the Gaylords, the Lortons were downright leftish.)

Warren Buffet would best be called a centrist, he's liberal on some issues, but no way is he in the category of these new progressives.

"The chairman of the World Publishing Company, which owns the Tulsa World, said selling to Berkshire would provide a secure future for the Tulsa newspaper."

"Our family takes great pride in the Tulsa World and its many years of service to Tulsa and Oklahoma," Robert Lorton Jr. said. "The newspaper business has become a difficult business model within a changing society and in particular for local family owned newspapers."

Let's hope so.

Correction, centrist in terms of liberalism, not on the scope of everyone's ideologies. I'd argue he's more left than you think, he's in the crowd of Soro's and the like, and definitely a global elitist trying to reshape the world for his own financial gain. Controlling part of the media is not just about him making another buck. There's no money in newspaper, it's about a bigger agenda.

I really hope they make improvements to the Tulsa World website. It's god awful to visit.
