Maybe a little taller. But, this would actually be very neat. I know this concept has been around for some time. It would be cool if it "took off" starting in OKC.

The last time I was in BC, Ladysmith to be exact, I noticed there were crops growing around city properties, like city hall and the firestation. I asked the friend from there I was having lunch with about it and he said that was part of their local food movement, to use some of the space that's cultivated and might be growing grass or shrubs for growing food, both for local independence and for conservation of resources.

This is a little promotion for two Omaha filmmakers, they deserve it. They made a fantastic documentary about urban farming in America and have been working their butts off to get it out in the public realm. I noticed on their website that there will be a screening in Myriad Gardens on Sept 4th. I urge you if you have the time to check it out, the film really is a joy.
