In my opinion, mass public apathy on the serious need for drug law reform in Oklahoma is a bigger problem than stubborn Republican politicians at the State Capitol.

In this particular instance, apathy may be your friend. When and if folks start mobilizing, I am reasonably convinced there will be more active folks in opposition than there will be proponents of for changing existing law.

There was surely once more opposition than support for legalizing lotteries, casinos and tattoos, but eventually all those things became legal.
