In light of some potential snowfall, I'm looking for a good sledding hill within a reasonable distance from home (Plaza District). Recommendations?

Try NW 36th and I-44. I believe there is a small soccer park located in a drainage area.

Edit: 32nd and Independence is the closest intersection.

That's where we always go. Already got the ski clothes out and the sled down from the attic!

People have been going there for that since that road was under construction in the early to mid 70's.

I know they're not near the Plaza district, but the local landfills look pretty exciting. Bryant and I 240, SW 15th and Rockwell...

I'd love to see the reaction from the guy at the weigh station when you pull up with a car full of kids and sleds and tell them you're there to surf the garbage!

There's a park at NW 45-46 & Lee, a couple blocks east of Shartel. Decent sledding there.
