OklahomaCityShoppers.com (http://OklahomaCityShoppers.com) has started a new nonprofit network via Freecycle.org (http://freecycle.org). Our new network is the (Click here to visit) (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/okcmetrofreecyle/) OKC Metro Freecyle Network (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/okcmetrofreecyle/) . Here you can get rid of that stuff you just don't want anymore. By finding a new home for it, you make someone else happy and cut down on the waste at landfills. By joining, you not only have the opportunity to find a new home for your stuff, but also find free give-aways that might interest you as well. For more information, or a network in your area visit Freecycle.org (http://freecycle.org) Go ahead and join today and be the first to be alerted when a new "freebie" is offered in your area.

I think this is a great idea, I hate to see people just throw thigns away that can be used again by someone else, we have to take care of our planet, it's the only one we have and seems to be getting smaller all the time.

In my neighborhood we recycle items buy putting them out on the curb... gone the next day. I saw a wrought iron stair railing on my walk yeaterday that would go well in my garden.

Same way here. If it is something that I don't need or use anymore, I put it out to the curb. Usually, overnight, it is gone. Your trash is somebody else's treasure.
