So I lost my glasses last week and I figure I should get a new prescription before I get permanent wrinkles from squinting.

The thing is, is that I have no coverage for vision at all. I would like to get a prescriptions for glasses and contacts as well as the articles themselves. If I can make it happen for less than $500 then I would think things went well.

Your all's thoughts, recommendations, etc?

Guess it depends on your prescription level. No way on earth could I do an exam and lenses for sub 500 anymore.

If you don't have mega lens issues though, my last exam was with Dr. Jon Painter in Moore. Dang decent chap, and nice staff as well. He offers a package deal that would be nice for someone with more typical eyesight issues I suppose. Between my beyond the norm size head and significant vision issues, I used him only for the exam itself and picked up my frames and lenses elsewhere.
