I was in Bricktown for a couple of games, dinner, and a movie last night, and there was still paper in the windows of FireFly.

Thanks for the link but I was wondering if we could get actual contact info such as name and phone number since it is not posted on the site.

On their web site, it looks like they don't even know their own address. Johnny Beach Drive? I believe it's Johnny Bench...

John, I did, its a guy that is running the place and again, I asked for his name and phone number.

We were jokingly referring to the model.

Sorry for any confusion. ;)

Oh yeah, the did take down that ugly yellow structure (for ATMs?) in front of Firefly though. That's good.

Went by yesterday and peeked in the window, guess this place isnt going to be open for awhile. It did not look like the construction was finished. Alot of wiring needed to be done and countertops and the restroom were still being worked on, as well as no fixtures were in the store yet, I'm guessing at least 2-3 weeks out. They did however have lots of new employment posters up that were not up before.

Just tried calling the number on the website. It just rings, and rings, and rings.

I'm impressed with the new webiste. If the prices and selection are comparable, we may not need an Urban Outfitters judging from their site. At least, the girls may not need one.

Everything appears to be all set. They're apparently just waiting for their certificate of occupancy (I hear this can be a real pain in OKC).

I peeked in Wednesday night, after the opening of Toby Keiths. It appeared there were a few manicans (sp?) in the window but no clothing and things like that still missing. It was more impressive than I thought but the store seems rather small. I can't wait for it to open though. If I remember right, aren't they also going to lease part of the first floor of the Sonic building for a denim bar and martini lounge??

Sorry for the delay, I have been out of state. I talked to the Operations Manager, Angie Nichols last week before I left, the reason for them not being open as of then was because they were waiting on 2 final inspections before they could hang their remaining fixtures. Also, she invited me to a pre-opening VIP fashion show and art exhibition, unfortunately I was out of state and could not attend. The place should be up and running as of now although I have not been by nor called to verify. She informed me also nothing in the store will be above $80 and will be more of a boutique for women. As soon as grand opening is over, work will begin immediately on the denim bar in the Sonic building. The price point for the most part will begin around $125 and up and will feature mens and womens as well as a martini bar.

Does the Denim Bar have a website like Firefly? I am interested to see what the interior design will be for the Denim Bar.

I doubt it Nuclear, considering the project hasn't started yet. As always, you hear it first with Metro, I'll keep you informed, be watching downtownguys blog site in the next week or so and I"ll guest report all the latest developments that havent been reported yet!

I stopped in there back in July (I think it was July) and snooped around a bit. They had some very cute items, and some that were fairly priced when compared to other teenish-early 20ish ladies clothing. It's all for little tiny ladies, though. Most certainly not for the bigger-boned curvy ladies like myself haha.

The jeans weren't *that* expensive when you think about it. The Buckle sells jeans for $50-120 easy and those are just your regular Lucky brand jeans (which have always been expensive). I wasn't shocked by any means, but I can't shop there anyway. I have recommended it to my much more petite older sister.

Sounds really familiar. Their inspections delayed our opening for several weeks.

I passed by there leaving bricktown last night (about 11:00pm). The store front looked very impressive with the big windows and the lighting and all. Very well done.:congrats:
