I was looking for a park with these type of pull up bars for a photoshoot. I think there is one still in norman any closer to edmond.

I know there is a small park on S. Walker, just south of SW 44 that has a slew of makeshift workout equipment pieces on it. Not sure about pull up bars though.

Cool are they, in a triangle shape like this? With three different bars?

I think several of the elementary schools in Norman have varying height bars, though the ones I recall at Adams were in a straight row. Perhaps Edmond school grounds might also have them?

There used to be, and may still be, a fitness trail to the east of the duck pond, near where E Lindsey crosses the tracks. I've not been over on that part of Lindsey in a while so I'm uncertain if those stations still exist.

Of topic but I usually use trees, unless the park has them. Which most don't.

Not too close to edmond, but regional park in midwest city has some on the west side along the running track, just outside the wooded area. I think they are side by side though.

Pull up bars in city parks should be installed to help promote physical fitness. Quite likely the average out of shape person can't fully do so much as one of them.

I wish the city had something like muscle beach, rings, ropes, pull up bars, Parallel bars.

How do you go about starting one up.
Do you contact a city council member? I think the best spot for one would be lake Hefner or maybe downtown.
