Join us at 6:30 tonight as Carolyn Cuskey shares a history of Oklahoma Journal publisher, Midwest City founder, developer & gubitorial candidate Bill Atkinson. Atkinson's home is a wonderfully preserved early 1960s ranch home, decorated and furnished as it was during his run for governor. This presentation will be well worth the trip, with the talk to be followed by a tour provided by Carolyn, a founding Retro Metro OKC member and director of the Atkinson Heritage Center. The Atkinson Heritage Center is at N.E. 10th and Midwest Blvd. in Midwest City, on the southwest corner. It is a 20-acre property with a white picket fence along the east side parallel to Midwest Blvd. The driveway cuts through the picket fence. There is a small sign with the property name where the drive enters Midwest Blvd.
