Here's a random question I was hoping the collective genius of OKCTalk could help me with...

If you go to a function in the one of the ballrooms at the Skirvin or other nice OKC hotel, what would you expect to pay for a beer, glass of wine or a mixed drink? You know, where they have a cash bar that is hosted by the venue as part of an event.

$5 per beer?
$7 per glass of wine?
$8 per mixed drink?


I'm trying to plan an event with a food/drink minimum and this is a piece of information that will help me with my budget.

While I very rarely have a drink anymore, the prices you mention don't seem excessive to me.

Those prices sound slightly higher than most events I attend but not unreasonable.
