Not quite sure where this topic would fit, but does anyone have the average "greening" dates for various trees in Oklahoma? Obviously the softwood pears bloom earlier than the oaks, but is there an average?

Here is a very good guide put out by the City of OKC regarding trees for central Oklahoma. Not sure if it has "greening" dates but is a very informative guide nevertheless.

. . . right before we get a really hard freeze or snow storm!! Maybe someone at the County Extension Service would know?

I kept a gardening journal last year and can tell you that the pears are blooming about 2 weeks before they did last year.

Whatever the average was it has shifted considerably over the last decade and isn't going to shift back anytime soon.
