How you know you are getting old:

1) When the toys you played with show up on EBay as "vintage antiques"

2) When the TV shows you watched growing up are now considered "nostalgia" & "classics" and are in high rotation on "Nick-at-Nite"

3) By the time the MAPS 3 Senior Aquatic Centers are built/opened, you will qualify

:omg: I am guilty on all 3 counts...

I was comparing YouTube versions of "Old Yeller" (the rabies scene) to make a point regarding other ViralVideo examples of Proper Parenting for The CyberGeneration/AgingMillennials.

Stepping into an elevator and realizing the music is use is now the music of your youth. Oh, the pain.

I was filling up my car recently with gas when I struck up a conversation with a younger looking guy. Before we both left the pumps he asked, "hey, how much did gas cost back in your day"? I swear I was only 10 years older than he was...probably....shheesshh.....

Oh I remember filling up for around 70 cents a gallon...but that was only...13-14 years ago.

I remember being able to get a 6 pack of beer and enough gas to run around all evening for $5

When i would go to Tulsa's Casa Bonita about every 4 to 6 weeks, I could go roundtrip on 1 tank of gas and $10. Cost of meal + tip and tolls, total trip could be done for about $20.

On occasion I take stairs just to avoid that I figure if my heart is gonna hurt, it oughta hurt in a good way
