Valentine's Day falls on Tuesday this year. But who can pass up a good excuse for a nice dinner? I need suggestions: will not be able to have dinner until 8:30 or 9 which is an additional constraint. Any recommendations or special pre fixe menus that have caught your eye?

Red Prime or course..... but we also like Paseo, Cheever's, Ludivine (if its your taste), Red Rock Canyon Grill, Cafe 501, Stella (I don't like it but many others do), Rococo (also don't like it, but others do), 1492 (not as nice as the others, but food is great), Signature Grill or even Boulevard (though I think it has gone way down hill).

Since it may be difficult to nab a reservation at one of the more romantic places just go with great food at Shogun

Or stay in and cook or go out the following night. Valentines is right with new years eve as one of the worst nights to go out to eat. Restaurants are too crowded and service always seems to be sub par.

My GF loves Cheevers, but I'm taking her to Paseo Grill, shes never been there before (neither have I for dinner, just lunch)
