View Full Version : Are Thunder scalpers still "cheap" ?

Will be back in OKC in February during a stretch that includes a few home games, and I was wondering if it was still possible to get nose bleed tix on the street for $10-20? I'd always just park at Bass Pro for free, walk down Reno, buy a ticket off the street, and then bam go find my seat. So easy/cheap.

(For anyone thinking cheapo, that's just life on a student budget lol..)

It depends on the game, but probably so. Check stubhub ahead of time too. You might be able to avoid scalpers... The games are definitely more full than they've ever been before though.

Don't ever buy from scalpers. One of those tickets (if not all) will be printed fake.

Didn't that happen at OU last year or two ago?

Thunder, that's why it helps to have been to games before you buy tix off the street, then you know what the actual ticket should look/feel like.

I just hate when the scalpers start talking about their relationship with God and Jesus and Tim Tebow...

Especially Tebow...

Who's Tebowing didn't help him much tonight. LOL

Off subject, but I couldn't resist.

He was Tebowned tonight, the Patriots had him contained like a dog on a leash.

Sorry Sparty, I'll stay on topic from now on.

So no change from last season? (yet)

Thunder, that is a very uniformed statement. I have season tickets, and every few games I will have an extra pair or two, and try to get close to face value in front of the arena. I am pretty sure that is a common occurence. If a guy has 20 tickets, then I would be a little cautious. Unless its a big team like Lakers or Heat, you will probably find some a little below face value.

Do they show the game on the new screen outside for all games, all home games, only select games, or none of the games.

I understand that only the playoff games will be shown outside on the big screen. The playoffs are guaranteed sellouts.

I've bought about 30 printed out tickets in my life. They all worked fine.

Is there a price on Thunder's head?! Was no one willing to get paid to do the job so we've sent scalpers after his noggin? ;-)
