Glad that KFOR has AntennaTV on a sub-channel (4.3) and Cox has it now at channel 247. They have a fairly good line-up of classic TV (http://www.antennatv.tv/shows/). It's still not MeTV, but it's good. However, the Monday-Friday evening line-up is not truly "classic TV". AntennaTV grid schedule. (http://affiliate.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCSGrid.do?sgt=grid&stnNum=70248&channel=&fromTimeInMillis=0)

But what about MEtv? It is, by far, the best of the three Retro classic TV providers out there. Has anybody heard anything? Check out the MEtv programming. (http://metvnetwork.com/programs.php) Wow.

And, look at the national map. We're about the biggest market without MEtv:

RetroTV was the first of the bunch, but its programming hasn't kept up because of the exclusives signed by the two bigger players. They still have some great old shows though. Here are RetroTV Programs (http://myretrotv.com/shows.html). (Edit: Just found out it's now being carried locally by KOHC digital 45.3 (or possibly 45.2 - it's listed differently at two sites.) Great news!

But really, where is MEtv?

At one time there was a rumor that KAUT was going to open up 43.2 and run METV. I dont know if it still in the works...most likely not

I hadn't heard that. Wish it would happen.

I currently get and watch METV in Oklahoma. But unless you have the equipment and a big 10' Satellite dish you will not be able to watch METV in Oklahoma at this time. and I can vouch for the excellant programming METV offer, been watching it for over a year now.

Charlie, I've heard from one other person who said it was available on (is it C Band satellite?). That's great if you have one. That's how the sub-channels receive their programming of course. You are the lucky one. MeTV is the only one of these retro networks that have been real hits in several markets. The programming is just better. I like the AntennaTV and RetroTV, but they just don't come close to MeTV. If you look at that map in an earlier post, I don't see a bigger market that is without it. That needs to be fixed!

Yes it is on C Band, Time to start finding and planting dishes in yards again. There is a TON of good Free To Air Programming on CBand. Can also get PBJ from the Luken Mux.
