Some friends from Kansas going to the Cotton Bowl. They ask me about places to eat in Dallas. I know where the good Mexican and Tex/Mex places are, but, that's it. Appreciate it if someone could give me some ideas to pass on to them. Thanks.

The French Room is the most exclusive restaurant in Big D. You will have better luck in Addison in finding multiple upscale restaurants that don't necessarily need reservations.

Ruth's Chris. My husband said it was the best steak he ever had.

Fearings in the Ritz Carlton is really good. The Rattlesnake Bar next to it in the hotel is fun for after dinner drinks.
