Announcing for the many out there that knows her. She is the next door neighbor for so many years. I've taken care of her lawns, flowers, bushes, shrubs, etc for years. Well, she died Monday, the day after Christmas, so not only did I lose my job of many years, she was a good lady friend. Leona was a faithful attender of First Baptist Church in Moore (I think on 27th Street east of I-35) and regular daily lunch buffet customer at the Golden Corral in Midwest City. She also goes to Sam's Club and often buy most of everything in bulk. At age 85, she died in her Del City home of unexpected stroke after several days in the hospital. She last saw Taz the Poodle in his Santa suit before being found on the floor the next day. Christmas was her last holiday before letting go.

Leona is available for final viewing and good-byes at the Bill Eisenhower funeral home in Del City on 29th. People will gather to meet there for police escort to First Baptist Church of Moore on Friday for service at 10am. I am not sure about the cemetery? A funeral is usually at the grave site in a cemetery. All I know is final service at the church. I guess the burial part is going to be private, away from view, and secret location.

There's so many people out there, I just do not know how to find them, so this is the best way I could think of to spread the news.

I want to note how disgusting people has been doing... While she was in the hospital, her son was stealing things from her house. Loading it up in his black truck, white van, and other vehicles. There are other people, I think her friends, that stopped by and took things yesterday or the day before. The funeral service isn't until this Friday, so this is sad how people are. I'm not even going into her house or taking anything.

The family are being destructive. They got a huge dumpster on the driveway and tossing everything in the house into the dumpster. All those things, my gawd!!! They would rather add to the landfill than letting me take everything away to sell within the donation booth at the market for a wildfire victim. Cruel family. These things are highly valuable and worthy of passing on to other people. I hope they sell the house, cuz I don't want to see one of them moving into that house. Such disrespect for the dead's belongings.
