A little bit of a random topic but does anyone else find it odd that Nike still makes as many Jordan products as they do? Yea, he was one of the greatest players in the game but the last good team he was on was in 1998 and he has not played since 2003. It seems like most people in the age range to play basketball should not be old enough to even remember his good years.

Maybe its all marketing? Or the 30-40 year olds want to relive their youth. People sure were going crazy for Air Jordans though.

Not odd at all.

I do think it was stupid for Nike to release the latest a day or two before Christmas. Total failed marketing. Nike caused many people to be injured and upset while trying to get one but go home with nothing. Total failed marketing. Nike would've made more if they released it on Black Friday in stores and online and watch the orders skyrocket boosting the company's final annual revenues...but no, they chose to do it very late. Can anyone explain this failed marketing?
