Who here have tried this product? Does it actually work as advertised? I'm interested in buying a bunch to spray all over the top of my 5th Wheel mobile home, because I do not know where the small leaks are happening. I tried chalking, but not confident enough as it was my first time to do it.

If you really search for the real reviews (the company paid for top Google search ranks for fake review pages), you will see millions of complaints specifically about their website being very deceptive and overcharging customers (including no order summary before actual order placed).

So, I am going to buy them thru eBay. I found a set of 6 cans for just under $60 with total shipping for $14. Its best to go through eBay where Sellers obtain items thru wholesale.

I just need to know if this is good or not (local reviews here obviously).

Just remember, do not order directly from the fraudulent company. They overcharge on the cans and do not combine shipping ($9.95 per can...). Also, when the order processing ask if you want a second can, this actually means second set....not the second free can, and you'll end up being charged for 4 cans ($19.95 per two set) at $9.95 each can for shipping. Scam company, I'd say, but the product may actually work.

Post here if you tried it or know someone very happy or not.

However, if anyone know any other options to seal the entire roof, plz say so. I just need to stop these mysterious leaks or else I'll be somewhere downtown in cardboard boxes.

Lowes has a product called silver seal you have to paint it on.
We used it on our mobile home with a metal roof last year and so far it has done really well.
If you buy this be sure and have Lowes mix it for you because it is really thick.

Do you mean "paint it on" as in painting the product on the roof? I don't know what kind of roof I have. Its all white with a rough texture surface. What do you mean by mixing? Isn't it standard that all paint are done through the mixing machine when choosing colors?

Yes Paint it on with a paint brush or paint roller.
This is not a mixed color paint it is silver with aluminum shavings in it.
If you do not get it mixed then you will need to buy a paint mixing device that attaches to a drill.

I'm not sure how much area a can of flex seal would cover but my guess isn't a lot.

i am an admitted sucker for just about any infomercial...the vast majority is worthless crap...I usually wait until the product is available in the stores (where you dont have to pay the rape shipping charges and where you can easily get your money back if it doesn't work). Many stores sell the infomercial stuff now (Walmart, target, Walgreens etc) but cant say if I have seen this particular product yet...might want to check Ace Hardware or someplace like that.

My guess is that this product is for spot repairs/leaks (where you know where the problem is) and not for widespread usage like an entire RV roof....further guess is to do the screen door/boat demonstrated it probably required a couple of cases worth of the product to do it....when you add product and shipping costs up may be much more expensive than using 'real" product or having someone who knows how to do that kind of stuff, have them do it (or even offer to pay them a fair amount to show you how)

You need to go to one of the mobile home supply stores and buy some roof sealant. It is the paint on product that has already been mentioned. They sell it in white which is what it sounds like you need. They can tell you how much if you tell them the size of your trailer. It usually comes in 1 and 5 gallon buckets. The one I know of is south of I-240 on the west side of Shields.

Thanks, I will try to find that location. Its a 33 footer. I think the width is a 10 feet? The slideouts add 3 feet each. Here are the pix. The next time I am on the roof, I will take some pix.

With a retail value (for used) at 17k, they were going to sell it as 6.9k as it and offered me 6k or 6.5k (its mentioned in another old thread). When I offered to pay them monthly while it sits in the back lot area, they went ahead letting me take it away with offer of 5k, so I took it. Neat deal, I would say. I will show inside pix when I furnish it.

I am having serious time trying to find a loveseat to fit through the door. I do not know what went thru the minds of the designers making such door so small.... I need to find a very fluffy and comfty loveseat with recliners, so the backs can be removed. Hopefully that will be easy to get through. I won't settle for a cheap loveseat being so thin and bone hard.

Wambo, I'll get a 5 gallon bucket and paint the entire surface to be safe.

Btw, I spent $25 on a huge silver tarp (10x30) and used several 2x4 wood and bricks to hold them down. Twice the tarp flew off. I gave up. There is no sense for that frickin' tarp to blow off!
