Merry Christmas Doug and everyone!

It's funny because for the first 40 years of my life, Christmas meant OKC to me. I lived there for the first 30 then went back for about 10 straight years once I moved to California.

Slowly but surely, I've built my own holiday traditions out here and haven't been back for Christmas in quite a while. Still, my heart is always in Oklahoma this time of year!

Education always pays off, one way or another. Of course, in my morphed Santa image, I've not got not a clue about the other beauties in the picture which I found on the internet. It's best to put the morphed image in the category of my wishful thinking. I've not shown the image to my wife, either, and I may have hell to pay. Now, wait a minute ... she is not shy to say what she thinks of "hunks" on-line ... "Wow, what a hunk" ... I've got my defense in hand.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Happy Hanukah for those candle lighters among us. And Blessed Yule for the pagans. I hope everyone on OKC has a happy, healthy and joyous holiday.

I guess that I might be veering to the religious side of Christmas even if I don't know who it is that I am, religiously speaking ... Christmas is just so darned beautiful ...

Thank you ... a child of God ... it was a comfort for you to say that, and I hope that it is true.

Here's another pair of Christmas videos ... Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band which performed here a few days ago ... the 1st video is his performance at Louisville, KY, on November 17, about a month before he performed here on December 15. The 2nd is when Seger was much younger and still had brown hair to the video backdrop of the popular Little Drummer Boy animation ...

I'm still hoping for a White Christmas!

KFOR is hinting at the next weekend storm (Christmas on Sunday)!

There is a Low system continuing to develop out southwest. If we get enough gulf moisture without raising the temperature and cold enough overnight, it could snow on Christmas! There are still several days left, so much could happen before then. I just hope the system continue to develop stronger, arrive on time, and don't move out too fast. NWS believe there must be an inch on the ground to classify it as official White Christmas.

Below graphic will change several times. Right now, I'm seeing 30% chance of snow before rising temp change it to rain.

That would be great, Thunder. Time to pull out my old VCR tape of White Christmas (Bing Crosby, et al.).

I still think VCR tapes and machines should still be in mass production.

Merry Christmas, Mikey!!! <3

Doug, it seems that the snow chances is on the increase. Most won't stick to any grounds, but maybe to everything above ground. Either way, as long its snowing, its still a White Christmas officially to me considering this is Oklahoma and its super rare to even have snowflakes fall on Christmas.

true, seems our "white Christmas's" are of the ice storm variety...recall reading several years ago that you have a better chance of having a snowy white Christmas in Dallas than OKC!

Anyway, "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

Got to start wrapping presents...LOL

We had a lot of snow last year but if you're talking about our Christmas blizzard, that was in 2009.

I posted this on my Facebook update status, so just bringing it over.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Santa is awesome!!! This is what he brought me... A bunch of yarns (all premium cotton) for my business. Looks like 2 or 3 of each colors. A set of blue scissors. Flexible tape measure. Crochet pattern books. Set of new needles and set of bamboo needles. A pack of magnets (for back of fridge crocheted magnets I plan to make). Blue hot glue gun with glue sticks pack. $100 gas card for Walmart (3 cents off per gallon for using Walmart's card). Atomizer refills for electronic Clean Cig brand. And an awesome computer desk for my new home. THANK YOU, SANTA!!!!!! :-D

Totally rare! Today, I didn't see a single flakey. Truly gives us a reason to be thankful for having such White Christmas 2 years in a row. Maybe next year!!!
