I have reservations at Twelve Oaks for Christmas Eve. It has good reviews for the most part, but not many recently. Can anyone tell me about this place?

I probably should not comment, it's been a few years, but back then they were at the top of my list. Too many new ones that I haven't been to. Let me just say that in price, service, and of course food it's right there with boulevard steakhouse, and the other finer restaurants in town. I would be interested in hearing your experience.

Love Twelve Oaks. Not as pricey as Boulevard. Better environment. Chef/owner comes around to visit with customers, very nice, beautiful setting. Let us know how you like it afterward.

I think that RealJimbo probably nailed it, perfectly.
(And I echo his request for a follow-up review.
In order to prove us right . . . or at least correct. =)

The main question I always had about Twelve Oaks
([on Midwest Blvd. in the 6300 block])
was before I realized that the address given
was Edmond/Guthrie oriented rather than "local"
e.g. just south of waterloo rd. rather than the alternative. =)

I anticipate that you will enjoy a truly memorable meal.
Memorable . . . In a good way. =)
